If the seller isn't responding to you, move on, they aren't worth your time. An honest seller would respond back to you within a day, if not within hours.
Dishonest sellers can do this. It could also be that the seller forgot to take down the ad and moved on.

The only three reasons that I can think is either 1) if you're posting an ad or responding to an ad on craigslist and the error occurs, then it's possible that there was a timeout and the error happened. If your wifi connection is poor signal wise, you can get error messages.
The way to solve that is either move closer to your wireless access point or get a wifi extender and connect your laptop to that and do what you did before.
or 2) There is too much traffic on craigslist and you should try again later. or 3) You're not using the most up to date version of your browser in which case, you'll need to update your browser.

The only way around this problem is to pay a service to post your Craig's List ad for you. I know it sucks and will cost more but that is the best and quickest way to get your ad on Craigs List if they keep denying your card.
Just Google 'Craigs List posting service' and choose which one you want to use. Thomas William Falater, Juneau, Alaska Works for me.
