Rude and Unethical Lawyer

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Craigslist - Rude and Unethical Lawyer

Me and my wife hired this lawyer Richard S. Joseph Jr.

off Craigslist. Worst decision we ever made. He had a bad temper especially to the other side, and all that argueing just made it take longer and cost more. He dint really help just kinda made all these promises and did the bare minumum.

We just wanted him to explain like why his bill said he worked 40 50 hours when it looked like 2 3 hours and he would say he had to research then we ask well you said you were an expert so why do you need to research .

and he would lose his temper and say if you dont like my bills get another lawyer

We should have known better he had no office no Linkdin no website just that Craigslist ad but we went ahead anyway and it ended up wasting our time and money. later on he started getting worse snappy and short with us felt like we could not even talk to him.

An expert in 'ethics and legal malpracticehow convenient, considering how effortlessly he flip that expertise on his own clients.

We called the state bar and found out he had been reported before and one complaint had a year and a half invesgation that told us all we needed.

the bar told us we did not have to pay any bill our lawyer refuse to explain, and they would help but we had to file a complaint. we just paid it to be done with the whole thing and another lawyer got it all taken care of in a couple of days.

Craigslist - Getting called nasty names by a person who's asking a dog

I messaged a phone number off Craigslist because they were selling a dog, and I told them I was not driving 6 hours away and paying $100 for this dog. He started calling me a b**** and all kinds of other crap. I have his number and the messages still, so if you can kindly call me and talk to me ASAP, I'd appreciate it.

I can’t get any ad even if I make a phony ad to sell a lawnmower it gets flagged and removed. Why what’s wrong? I never had a problem before.

Not let people flag you and I dont think theyre flagging me. I think theres some kind of glitch in the system and I just cant put them and something is just weird and strange.

I dont get it. Ive tried everything and it just nobody can get them in and I need to get them rehomed theyre getting older. This is an accidental breeding. Sometimes my Male he gets them before I can get the females.

Theyre my pets in my house. They dont go outside. I live in a mobile home and I just want them to go to really good homes And if you give stuff free, then people dont appreciate it. Ive learned that.

I have three little Shih Tzu females and one male thats it. because I couldnt find a chocolate and I couldnt find it in reasonable price so I got the mail probably not a good idea. are you flagging me because I dress them up I like to do that theyre my babies, but I cant keep puppies but their moms are small and I put the clothes on the little doggies cause I think it looks cute. Is that why youre flagging me?

I dont get a chance for it even to go online. It doesnt make sense.

I see people that do ads after ads after ads and I even see people that go to community and for sale admitting theyre selling the puppies not rehoming them and its on the page where it says for sale community. I put them on pets.

User's recommendation: Write in so people don’t have the opportunity to flag you. It should only come from craigslist the people that work there not because some jealous or weird person just gets a kick out of it.

Craigslist - Repeated flagging of LEGAL posts - Image 2

I have been repeatedly flagged for my post regarding a sugar glider I am trying to rehome. I have reviewed the Missouri wildlife commissions regulations and it is legal to own and rehome these animals within the state of Missouri as a hobbyist.

I am NOT a breeder. I am a pet owner. I do not own these animals for commercial use or exhibit and I am not trying to rehome my pets within the Sedalia, Missouri city limits where they are prohibited.

I just want to find a loving home for my sugar glider. Can you please help me!

Craigslist - Posting (#785754****) has been removed.

Hi...When someone takes the time to create a posting on Craigslist, he or she should at least expect to be notified as to the reason why the posting has been removed by Craigslist. My posting (#785754****) was abruptly terminated only a few days after its initial posting.

Please let me know why this happened.

Thank you. Richard Shenson

I'm pissed that my post keeps getting removed and I'm not getting a logical reason why. What can the company do better?

Stop removing posts for no *** reason.

I'm just trying to find homes for some puppies, and Craigslist keeps removing my post, so it's very frustrating when the post keeps getting removed and again I'm not getting a logical reason why it's being removed—no email, no information on why it got removed. Great company you are, Craigslist, just kidding you suck Craigslist.

How about getting your dog fixed so it won't keep having puppies. Millions of puppies and kittens are euthanized every year because there are not enough homes for them and the ones that do get homes often go to abusive ones.

Kalie Vay

I posted for my dog to be rehomed but Craigslist keep removing it without reason. I am trying to keep him out of the shelter. Craigslist is a big fake site, because I see quite a few people on here rehoming there pets and their ads do not get removed.

Why are postings of my resume being flagged and marked for removal?

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Jun 28, 2025

Craigslist is useless. Content is flagged for removal for no reason and there is no recourse.

There's no moderation or anyone you can contact to address issues. Craigslist is dead to me. It's a boat anchor.

Use Facebook Marketplace. Even Facebook has better customer service than CL.

Original review Jun 12, 2025

I have successfully used Craigslist to post in the past for jobs. I'm very appreciative of this platform and am back to post again after losing my job.

However, I notice that my posts under the 'Resume' tab are being flagged and removed. I can't understand why. I have reviewed all of the FAQs and Terms of Service to try to figure out what I might have done wrong. My post seems legitimate and error-free.

Could you help to shed some light on the reason for this? Thank you!

Pros:
  • Easy to create ads

  • Flag your post for no apparent reason without recourse
  • Time consuming to create a post that is shadow banned
  • No one returns calls or emails

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: Don't waste your time with Craigslist. They are very fickle about what they allow to be posted and will flag you for nothing. They used to be good, but not so much today. Craigslist is yesterday's news anyway. There's no customer service and I don't think anyone is monitoring the site anymore. Everything is automated, and there's no recourse if your post is flagged. My recommendation is to use Facebook Marketplace to buy/sell items, Glassdoor and LinkedIn for jobs. And there are so many options for roommates and apartments. What's crazy is there are so many scammers allowed on Craigslist... it seems like that's all that's left.... yet legitimate posts are flagged and removed. Maybe it's the scammers manually flagging the posts LOL. Whatever the case, CL is just too much hassle these days to be of any use. Too much aggravation offsets any benefits.

Complaint of a seller on Craigslist that took a deposit from me.

You had a seller who posted their 2006 Toyota 4Runner for sale at $5,000.00 on 02/24/2025. I contacted the seller, and he stated that he had many offers for the vehicle, so he would be willing to sell it to me if I would give him a deposit of $1,000.00 to prove I was a serious buyer. I agreed to that, and we decided that I would have a relative look at the vehicle the next morning, and if it checked out, we would complete the purchase right then and there. He gave me an address for a Chase Bank in Sun City, and my relative drove there to meet him at an agreed time. John Miller is his name, and his phone number is 480-...-...

Mr. Miller called me approximately 15-20 minutes before the meeting and told me he had a medical issue with his wife and that he was at the hospital, so we could not complete the purchase as agreed, and he would have to contact me later to discuss what the next steps would be. As it turns out, Mr. Miller kept making excuses for where he was and when we could complete the deal. Days passed, and then he told me he couldn't find the title and he didn't know where to find it. Days, then weeks, passed with little correspondence, so we agreed that he would return my deposit. He stated he had spent the deposit money and was unable to come up with the $1,000.00 right away, so I agreed to $500.00 right away and the balance on May 1st. He had since closed the Zelle account used to receive my deposit money and the $500.00 reimbursement and has consistently lied to me about sending me a personal check, which I had agreed to receive because of the closed Zelle account. He has lied over and over, never had the title in hand as he had stated, and does not answer calls or respond to text messages.

I advised him that I would be contacting Craigslist, and he pleaded with me not to do that, stating that he is a man of his word and would make good on his promise to reimburse me. Being a man of my word myself, I agreed and would wait for his check. Of course, nothing happened on his end; he seems to be a habitual liar. I would have contacted you sooner, but I trusted that a retired Army veteran would be a man of his word.

I have contacted an attorney and am in the process of going through small claims court. I realize that you probably cannot assist me in seeking reimbursement at this point, being June already, but I want to have this complaint on file with you as this man is dishonest and needs to be reported to you. I would like to know if this is possible so this man does not try to scam someone else.

This isn’t Craigslist and to “count” as being on file your correspondence must be sent USPS or courier, signature receipt required.

My dog was stolen. They're selling her on Craigslist, and every time I try to post with pictures of my dog, the party who stole her flags it immediately and takes it down, and there's nothing I can do.

Even this right here doesn't work. Their phone numbers don't work.

I have placed a post for re-homing two puppies and have checked the wording on other posts and it reads just like others, yet my post keeps getting removed or flagged by someone.
